Arctic Blast

The Mayor of Memphis, TN directed the utility companies to turn power back on as "a few dollars were not worth losing lives." The woman's face lit up as she saw the cheerful lights absent for a year. And then it occurred to her as she was hearing a familiar noise as the furnace kicked on. The joy she had standing in her kitchen listening to the furnace with hat, coat, and gloves on! Isn't it a basic human right to earn money if we are willing and able? She seemed ready. What is wrong with our country??? Good luck if no one is there to help when you need it. We can afford wars in the Middle East, but no power in Memphis? What a harsh world we live in. Stop the planet and let me off.
